Are you ready to turn your business idea into a reality? Downtown Lynchburg is ready to welcome you!

Launch LYH is a program that supports entrepreneurs who are ready to start a new business, relocate their business, or expand their existing business in a Downtown Lynchburg storefront. Selected applicants will participate in an eight-week education course that will culminate in a pitch competition. Winning pitches will receive cash grants to help with new venture costs. These funds can be used for rent, build-out, inventory, or other start-up costs. Total grant funds available: $90,000. Awarded grant amounts will vary based on number of awards, assessed needs, etc. Prize packages will also include business resources from partner organizations - see the Launch LYH Prize Package section below for more details. Special consideration will be given to SWAM (Small, women-owned, and minority-owned) businesses.

Launch LYH has limited space for participation. Not all applicants will be accepted. Applicants will be notified of potential acceptance by February 16, 2024.
